Successful candidates for telecommuting in Germany must have a university degree or be a student majoring in information technology.

The project “Interactive labor web portal for achieving sustainable employment of young people in the IT sector in Germany and Bulgaria” creates the innovative Internet platform ITO.bg, which will provide unemployed young people under 29 from Bulgaria remote work in information technology ( IT) sector in Germany.

“We provide an online workplace for Bulgarian IT specialists, where they can implement their projects for German companies, communicate with clients, as well as create great solutions for their customers,” said Petko Georgiev, manager of INSIS Ltd., implementing the project. Georgiev added that the project enjoys serious preliminary interest from German companies, and there are also requests for expansion of the territorial scope in other European countries.

The initiative is implemented by the Bulgarian company “INSIS” Ltd. and the German-based “Project Media Group” Ltd. and is funded by the Operational Program “Human Resources Development”, Procedure BG05M9OP001-4.001 “Transnational and Danube Partnerships for Employment and Growth”.

The project ensures sustainable integration into the labor market of young people up to the age of 29 who are not engaged in employment, education or training.

Within the initiative, the interactive labor web portal ITO.bg will be created, tested and popularized.

The portal will allow conducting virtual interviews between employers from Germany and Bulgarian youth to be hired, gain professional experience and acquire new knowledge and skills in the dynamically developing market of information technology and software products.
